When we got back from our weekend getaway, we were very happy to be back home.  While we were unloading our car, we saw a couple neighbors dragging their sofa to the curb.  It looked like it had been shredded pretty badly somehow.  Our neighbors looked might upset about it to.  They came over with fire in their eyes, and said that while we were gone, their house and been burglarized.  They said they had just not bothered setting their alarm because it had been so windy.  They were disgusted with themselves because they understand the advantages of home security of one kind or another.  It seems the very time that you let your guard down, something like this happens.  They have been completely floored by what has happened to their home.  Whoever broke into the house decided that was enough, they completed trashed it.  Not only will they have to get mostly new furniture, but they are going to have to replace a lot of their walls and all of their carpeting.  They even destroyed the inside of the refrigerator and stove, and they squirted mustard and ketchup into the heating and air conditioning vents.  They have to start from scratch.
