FAMILY GENETICS

One of the few things I’m thankful for from my father is that the fact that I will never need hair restoration.  In my family, men tend to go gray and white, sometimes earlier than they should, but we never really start losing our hair.  There are no males in my family with receding hairlines no matter what the age.  Except for my brother, but I think his hairline has just always looked like that.  It’s a comforting thought that even while middle-aged I’ll have a full head of hair.  But other than that, my family’s genetics are awful.  I’m basically the first person in my family to ever try to live a healthy lifestyle.  I go to the gym 4 times a week, work out for at least an hour every day regardless, and eat nothing but health food.  I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables.  Everyone else in my family eats trash, fast food, potatoes, pizza, ice cream, and cake all the time.  My brother works out a lot, but he doesn’t eat right.  I’m in good shape now because of all my hard work, but I’ll never be able to get that six-pack that I want.  I’ll always have some flab hanging off my stomach, not to mention I’m broad chested which makes my body type look awkward at some angles.
