MEDICAL CONVENTION

I miss working at our Michigan Ave. store. Almost every morning I woke up and could not wait to get to work. And the customers were always interesting and almost never rude. I remember when there was some sort of medical convention in town and one of the doctors could not stop talking about the different ways people found for affording diabetic supplies that he bought three pairs of shoes from me and did not even get up and walk around in them. The people there are great too. I loved my co-workers. There was always something to laugh about and always some crazy stories to tell. There was also the fact that I was never there later than eight thirty and got home by nine o’clock. Where I am at now, I do not feel any of that. I actually hate going to work and the people are quite boring. I actually find myself watching the clock, literally when I am closing. And forget getting out of there at a reasonable hour. Usually I do not leave until nine thirty or later and do not get home until after ten. I am definitely going to have to make a move to get back downtown, even if it is at another store.
