I work at a Senior Citizen’s Center.  I love my work and get to meet and greet so many people each day.  Our center is a pretty busy one as we always have activities set up for anyone over 55 years of age.  There are always board games being played or card games being organized.   We also have an arts and craft room for anyone to enjoy and also a computer lab that is available.  We have a big library with large-print books in stock and a bunch of comfortable sofas and chairs placed around so the people can just come in and relax with a good book or the daily paper.  We also care about the Senior Citizen health.  We have two full-time nurses who take blood pressure and test for blood sugar every week to anyone who signs up for this service.  This time of year we have to use a temporary staffing company to send us a few nurses to help us give out flu shots.  They are free at our center and we are glad that so many seniors take advantage of this service.  We want them all to stay healthy so they can take advantages of all the services and activities we offer.
