My friend Jon was in the need for a personal injury attorney in Colorado last December when he was out in Aspen doing some snowboarding.  He had been out on the slopes all day, and decided to take one last run before he called it a day.  Little did he know what was about to happen to him.  He was on his way down the mountain when out of nowhere an employee from the ski resort came barreling into him on a snow mobile.  It hit Jon right in the knee, and he went down hard.  They had to have a different emergency vehicle come up the hill and pick him up.  They tracked down the driver of the snow mobile that had hit him, and they found out that he was drunk.  Jon was taken to the hospital to have x-rays and an MRI done on his knee, and found out that he had partially torn his ACL and his MCL.  Jon got himself a lawyer, and sued the resort and their drunken employee.  He ended up getting a nice sized chunk of cash as a settlement, which helped pay for his new apartment on Lake Shore Drive in the city.
